Personality: Simply put: he's an introvert and a geneus. But to get into more detail, he's a quiet pony and usually staring off into space because his mind is somewhere else. His mind works on a completely different level than normal ponies: while most ponies focus there brainpower on one specific task, Martin will look at the whole picture, he sees all of the individual pieces and how they fit together.<br /><br />Martin may come off as a bit self centered sometimes but he only does so jokingly. He actually cares deeply for others, in fact his company, Lockheed Enterprises, donates millions of bits a year to charities.

Backstory: Martin's father is a pegasus pony and trainer for the Wonderbolts. His mother was an earth pony who died during foaling. Martin's father always tried to spend time with his son but never got the chance between the tours he had to do with the Wonderbolts and the paperwork back in Cloudsdayle, and Martin could never go up to visit since he's not a pegasus. So Martin spent his childhood growing up under the care of his grandparents (mom's side of the family)in Trottingham. His cousin, Krystal, would come visit very often and they became very close. He worked very hard in school and achieved straight A's because he always fealt that he had to prove himself to his father and everypony else, even though they didn't ask anything from him.<br /><br />Then, one day, everything changed. The radio in his grandparent's house broke. They were about to throw it out when he took it into his hooves. Everything just suddenly clicked, he could envision everything that made up the radio: the transistors, the wiring, the copper rods, everything. Without even thinking he was able to take the radio apart and put it back together in ten seconds flat (exaggeration but you know what I mean) and when it was back together it worked! Not only that but it was able to pick up a signal much better! That's when he earned his cutie mark. For the next few years that he lived with his grandparents he exercised his skill of being able to envision the whole picture. He took apart ovens, carrages, and anything else he could find and then put them back together; better than they were to begin with. It didn't take long for him to start using his talents to invent things. When he was 16 he created a self propelled carriage. And at 18 he invented hydrolics.<br /><br />Martin continued to get straight A's in school and his father was easily able to afford a scholarship for him to attend the best college in Equestria. He graduated a year early with summa cum laude and a doctor's degree in engineering and physics. He went off to found Lockheed Enterprises which is a defense contractor and leader in technilogical inventions in equestria. They've made everything from the royal guard's armor to the Princesses official carriage.
