Appearance: FULL NAMES: Senior Master Sargeant William Lemming Gliant<br />Known occasionally to former subordinates as 'The Cowardly Lion', 'Uncle Lemon' and, less endearingly, as 'Wet Willie'<br />(again, apologies for pictureless-ness)<br />William is a light turquoise Earth Pony of above average height and build, with a trucker-looking salt-and-pepper mane and faded tail (used to be blonde).<br />His usual attire in civillian situations consists of his Eq. Guard uniform, (the golden armor, plumes, the whole nine yards) or his Saddle Arabian greenback uniform, and its many decorative pins for valor under fire, and performance under heavy pastry onslaught in clear violation of Geneighva conventions during the infamous gulf war 'just desserts' bombardment.<br />Armament for 'on the job' situations is a matter of habit for the old soldier: a worn flak vest, the beret from his greenback uniform (for morale purposes), a .16 caliber Kalashnikov battle-saddle , a side-arm pistol with an embossed mouth-grip, two mil-surplus frag grenades, one 60 K Lumen "Twilight Sparkle" flash-bang grenade, a sheathed Bowie knife, two granola bars, a canteen, and a roll of toilet paper.

Cutie Mark: William's cutie mark is a shield with aircraft streaks running across it, which appeared the first time he witnessed an Equestrian national guard parade standard.

Personality: Sgt. William is an old soldier. He's set in his ways, tougher than nails, loyal to a fault--Oh yes, and<br />DEADLY PARALYSIS-INDUCING AFRAID OF WATER!!

Backstory: Sgt. William has been a soldier pony for longer than most OC's have been a live (:P). He started out in the Equestrian National Guard, but was at one point transferred to Saddle Arabia during the desert wars over gemstone-polishing oil, and served under horse commanders in an an ambush unit for several years. He served in the early Buffolo skirmishes, the Nightmare Moon incident, the Zebrahanian conflict, the Saddle Arabian gulf war, and maybe even in the Fallout wars, even though that's clearly historically impossible. <br />Recently the younger brass has taken to deferring to his wisdom and decades of experience, which he finds a little unnerving...
