Appearance: Maxim is an Equestria born zebra with a tan coat, black stripes, a black mane/tail, and gold eyes. He enjoys the novelty and spectacle of clothes so he can often be seen wearing his red vest and buckle-tastic booties. He also wears a pair of red tinted glasses, because the real world is too blue for him, and a small plot of real-estate on his head. Okay, so it's technically a fez but it's also the favorite napping spot for Maxim's pet mongoose, Muju.<br /><br />Muju is about a foot and a half long from nose to tail tip with tiny ears, huge brown eyes, a fuzzy red coat, and four black rings on his fluffy tail.

Cutie Mark: As with most zebras Maxim's cutie mark is stylized almost to the point of non-recognition. Some think it's a tablet covered in writing while others say it's a magic rune. Y'know what Maxim thinks? He thinks it looks cool and that's good enough for him.<br /><br />Muju's cutie mark is a picture of princess Molestia... nah, I'm just kiddin'. Muju doesn't have a cutie mark.

Personality: Maxim is a showpony. He loves to show off his magic tricks and make ponys' eyes pop out with wonder and surprise. He will also, more likely than not, charge you for the eye popping afterwards. He also loves to tell stories, usually about himself and usually embelished beyond any believability. Still fun to hear though.<br /><br />Muju is a slinky little guy. He can do some tricks on his own and often finds himself victim to many of Maxim's magic tricks. Oh yeah, and he hates snakes *cue Indiana Jones music*.

Backstory: Due to his tendency to lie like a throw rug not many ponies know anything about Maxim's past. That is to say, he says so much utter bullcrap that he's probably told the truth repeatedly, it's just impossible to tell which bits are true and which aren't. Was he raised in a small village a few miles outside Manehattan, or inside the bowls of an active ice volcano? Is he half pony, half zebra, or is he just an apparation conjured up by a tumor in your brain? Is his last name really Lulamoon!? Yes, actually. His great, great, great grandmother was also a (in)famous performer. He's quite proud of his lineage.<br /><br />Muju adopted Maxim as his mobile napping platform while the zebra was performing in Trottingham.
