Personality: <p> Maya is a very laid back, friendly and kind pony. It takes a lot of effort to make her angry, or even phase her. Just don't mess with anypony she cares about; at least 25% of the potions she brews explode. </p>

Backstory: <p> Maya, residing in Canterlot long ago, was well on her way to becoming the greatest alchemist in all of Equestria. However, through events that I only reveal in RP, she managed to raise enough chaos to catch someone's attention. One night, the mad god himself appeared to her and dropped her in a realm of existence that was a severely corrupted version of Equestria, one which most believe is a representation of his own mind. Rather than being destroyed by this misfortune, she, strangely, saw opportunity. There were strange plants a-plenty, some of which existed in Equestria, some of which did not. She perfected her craft there, making something usable out of everything she found. This realm is where she met Skydust, her now husband, who was put there not long after she was. Long story short, it was love at first meeting. Their seemingly opposite outward personalities meshed perfectly. </p> <p> She and her husband know how to leave their little realm, and frequently do, but ultimately, it's their home, and they spend the majority of their downtime there. </p>
