Appearance: Mela D is the mare with light-blue mintish coat and Harmona is the other mare with the warm pink coat. Ponies confuse them all the time! :P

Cutie Mark: Both Mela D and Harmona's cutie marks represent their love for music, so passionate enough to write and preform their songs about life, but mostly about love & lost.

Personality: Mela D: Sweet, kind and bubbly. Those are some of the words that most ponies would say to describe Mela D. She always knows how to cheer up her sister when times get tough and supports when they've come across a problem. Most of the time Mela D doesn't ask, but always gives, she knows when to put her hoof down, but is very considerate and caring around ponies she cares or feels close to most. Even if a fan and barely know her personally, Mela D still shows her sweet and kind attitude towards them. Mela D loves to spend time with her sister, as much as Harmona loves concerts and parties, Mela D would rather watch a movie or have a quiet, relaxing spa day. Not much of a party pony but more of a simple type of fun pony. <br /><br />Harmona: In some circles is like her sister, but mix sour with that sweetness. She's a mare with a tough attitude that isn't afraid to stand up to anypony who decides to mess with her, friends or family. Harmona doesn't take crap from anypony. Although at times she does have a soft spot for her sister and does show it, but not in front of press or fans. Aside from her tough side, Harmona knows how to have REAL fun, unlike her sister who'd rather go to a cafe or a museum. When on her good side Harmona is one mare you'd want as a best friend, but not the one to start scrap.

Backstory: Mela-D & Harmona we're born in Manehattan, the city of busy streets, muscial theatre, and the place for big dreams to come true. Raised by their mother Roxy Rhythms, a natural born, talented singer and her coltfriend who was a guitar player along side Roxy. Even before the twins we're born, the fate of their lives coming into the world would have a rocky, but fair start growing up. Roxy was a single mother, the twins never met their father, he was what you call a "deadbeat". The couple had been dating for 3 years but never got married. When Roxy told him she was pregnant at first he was happy and even excited about being a father, but after only 7 months pregnant, the stallion's excitment blew over and soon lost total interest and care for Roxy. Days later he had packed his things and left, Roxy was heartbroken but knew she had to be strong for her children, eventually Roxy got over him, and moved on with her life. When the twins we're born Roxy promised herself and her daughters that nothing or nopony would get in between them. Being a single mother wasn't easy for Roxy. Because the stallion left, it was difficult for Roxy to pay the full rent of their coxy apartment. Later on, they lost the apartment and barely had enough bits to stay in a motel. Luckily for the family, Roxy's best friend offered her and the twins a place to stay. To make things fair Roxy did help pay for staying, she had to work extra long night shifts, and sometimes the weekends to earn enough bits. The twins always had time with their mother, as their mother loved them so much, but if long nights of working meant bigger pay to support them, it must be done. The time Roxy did spend with her children of course was the time when they needed care, with feeding, bathing, and of course loving. One thing Roxy would do is she would always practiced her singing with them. The little fillies loved when their mother sang to them. After much hard working, Roxy got offered a job for singing at a popular coffee shop in Manehattan. The pay was much more than her current job and the hours weren't as long, so with no hesitation Roxy took the job.<br /><br />As years came and when Roxy made enough to support herself and her children, so with great thanks they packed up and moved out into a nice apartment where Roxy's new job was a few blocks down. At this time the twins, Mela-D & Harmona we're 6 years of age. They went to a school that was of reach from where they lived and when coming school they of course learned, but also developed their personalities. Being twins they always stayed together, even if one of the sister's got popular they'd never abandon one another. After school the fillies would walk to their mother's workplace and stay for hot chocolate since they couldn't have coffee. They loved hearing their mother sing which eventually leading to them getting into the arts of music. Born from Roxy the fillies got their mother's talent of singing, it took a lot of practice but as time went on they got better, and better. When the twins played with each other they pretend the we're a famous mare duo that sang all over Equestria, at firrst it was only a little game but at the age of 8 they realized that this wasn't just some silly pretend game, it was bound to be their destinies, they had realized they had talent for singing and wanted to do everything the could to achieve that level of accomplishment as a dream, and at that moment they got their cutie marks. And so as more time went on Mela-D & Harmona grew, and grew to become young mares doing everything they could to achieve their dream. Roxy was proud of them, follow in their mother's hoofprints. Both twins came up with a name for their duo, and they we're soon to be known as "Sweet Heartz".
