Micron Hooves (Micrometer)

Appearance: Micrometer is roughly 2.5 feet tall making him slightly smaller than the average pony of about 3 feet tall. He bears a color in greyscale, which resembles an image taken by an electron microscope. He commonly wears a lab-coat for aesthetics and wears 'Hazmat' suits during his investigations to prevent contact with biological agents.

Cutie Mark: Micron Hooves' Cutie Mark consists of a generic black/white light microscope next to an eye. This represents his keen ability to spot tiny objects through a light/electron microscope and his interest in microbiology.

Personality: Micron Hooves is most commonly seen as shy and introverted and tends to seek comfort away from civilization. This sometimes leads to poor cooperation in the field and in society as a whole. He also doesn't cooperate with changes very well, meaning if something goes wrong, it takes him a considerable amount of time to recover compared to his fellow colleagues. However, this proves to be minuscule in his daily work. He also is a very determined pony. Once he sees a goal, he works for it without restraint.

Backstory: Micron Hooves was born in Dec 20 of 1990. After his birth, he was immediately sent to magic kindergarten by his parents who saw potential in him. During his school life, he gathered plenty of information, met many friends, and joined social groups. Afterwards, he was sent to high school, where he wasn't accepted at all. He was the punchline in every joke put on him, which scarred him for life. However, due to high grades in magic, science, et cetera, he received an invitation to the Canterlot School for Talented Ponies, where he then pursued microbiology, his talent. One day, in a lab, after mixing a few chemicals and testing the results on a cluster of flu viruses, he found a cure for influenza, which swept Equestria for decades. Seeing Micron Hooves' work, the CDC or Canterlot Disease Control contacted Micron offering a job. Which brings us to the present.
