Appearance: Midnight's coat is a dark purple, and her mane and tail are styled spikey and short, they're colored a dark blue. The most important feature is a mechanical leg for her left flank that has a lightning bolt painted on it for a cutie mark

Personality: Midnight only cares for herself and see's herself as the most important character. She has this whole "I-don't-need-your-help" attitude. When forced to work with others, however, she becomes a bit mischevious. She pulls pranks on others and gives them silly nicknames

Backstory: Midnight's mother was reckless, and had a One Night's Stand with a stallion at some party. When the mare was only 19, she gave birth to Midnight. The mare hated the little filly, blaming her daughter for ruining her yound adult life. What made it worse is that the purple filly was born with a birth defect, and she lacked a left flank. Midnight tried everything to amputate her flank on her own, using sticks and branches, but it was hopeless in the end. Her mother, however, was too irresponsible to care for the filly, and at the age of nine, Midnight was left at an orphange.<br /><br />Everyday, she was bullied for her birth defect, and she had no comfort zone to run away to. She constantly tried to run away, and at the age of thirteen, she managed to do it. But not too long after, Midnight ran into an engineer. The Stallion was large and intimidating, but very kind and soft on the inside. He was able to build a mechanical leg for her, and soon enough, Midnight was trotting down streets with ease. When she found her amazing talent in speed, she painted a lightning bolt on the metal flank.
