Minty Cream
By
Guest
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Species: Earth Pony
Appearance: Mint is slightly smaller than normal, and still very much adolescent in appearance. Her fur is a light brown, and she has a short chocolate-green mane that closely resembles Mint Icecream (what a concept!). She also tends to keep her mane in a ponytail.
Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is three pink icecream cones to symbolize her proficiency with icecream interfacing. Particularly making, and serving icecream in her store.
Personality: Mint is a very social pony. She likes talking a lot, and very easily gets sidetracked through conversation. She will talk about anything from icecream to the weather, but she is not very intelligable on more complex issues. She is more of a blissfully ignorant character.

She is very happy and energetic. Sometimes getting caught in run on sentences if she has a lot of things to talk about that tends to lead to the situation where the pony that is talking to here ends up not understanding what she's talking about and ends up giving up on trying to understand what she's saying and just nod in approval hoping that Mint thinks that they're still paying attention to everything she's talking about.

She is very kind to everypony, but especially to the customers that come into her icecream store (which I will explain later.
Backstory: Minty Cream was born and raised in Fillydelphia with her parents, Cookie Cream and Cherry Top. Both her parents are very much entrenched into the world of icecream and entrepreneurship. Her parents spent the majority of their lives (and savings) starting up an icecream shop in Fillydelphia that tried it's hardest to be the best homemade icecream shop in the city. Her parents were very supportive, but forceful to make sure that Mint would adopt the family trade and help them run their shop.

Since the first day she could walk, Mint was helping around her parent's shop whether it's preparing different ingredients to be made into icecream, to moving boxes when she got a bit older. She never stopped wanting to learn, and even from a young age she was very focused on leading an icecream-centric lifestyle. She darted around the store like a crossbow bolt from corner to corner with overwhelming energy pushing to complete the checklist that her parents kept nailed up in the employee section of the shop.

Her dedication to the art of icecream making was neverending. When she was in her teenage years she was almost always up at the front counter talking to ponies who wandered into their store hoping to solve a craving for the store's icecream (which by then was getting quite famous). She served her customers always with a smile, chuckle, and squeak of hapiness which always made the customers feel welcome, and lead them to coming back more than once in the future.

When she came of age to leave the family home, Mint's parents decided that it would be a good idea to send Mint to Manehattan to start up the second location for the family business, and expand it to be a family owned franchise. A new, "Genuine Fillydelphia Homemade Icecream" store was opened not soon after, and Mint was put up as manager of the store.

Now, she is only a few days into the job, and working hard at the store even without any employees. When she put out advertisements for jobs to the city (to her parent's suggestion), the recruiting pool turned out dry even up to opening day. She determined that meant that she should probably try and run the store herself, which we have yet to see will take a toll on her.
