Personality: Mogito almost always has a smile on his face, and is unusually cheerful, but cruel. He has a love for battles and a disturbing child-like joy for killing seeking the bloodiest outcome possible and even dreams of having the bloodiest death possible. He is often seen smiling, and happy-go-lucky with seemingly no emotion. In actuality, he subconsciously suppresses his emotions, making him difficult to read in combat. This facade gradually erodes when he realizes how strong of an opponent Crimson is. He also adheres to the philosophy of "the survival of the fittest" and believes it to be an absolute truth. His dedication to this belief, however, leaves him emotionally vulnerable and naive when another's differing ideology conflicts with his own. When his true emotions surface, he appears to be unnerved, infuriated, and almost insane. This is a direct result of spending years suppressing his feelings. During his time under Vulcan's tutelage and service, Mogito seems to regard him as a combination of master, god, and foster father.

Backstory: Mogito was an illegitimate son of a rice business stallion and his marefriend, and was left in the care of his family brother. As a colt, Mogito was abused and beaten by his family, and he would smile instead of cry to make them stop temporarily. One night, he ran into Vulcan Blaze, when he sliced a government official in half. Instead of killing him, Vulcan took shelter in a shed and Mogito would bring him food and bandages. He gave Mogito a wakizashi to protect himself by killing his family but he thought being killed by a sword would hurt too much so he hid it under the porch. When his "family" found out Mogito was harboring a wanted criminal, they planned to kill the boy and turn Vulcan Blaze in. Mogito ended up slaughtering the five adult ponies with great speed and strength, the result of believing what Vulcan told him; "The strong live and the weak die". Afterwards when he stood in the rain, he seemed to be smiling about it, but he was actually crying. He decided to go with Vulcan. Mojito Kagami was the fastest member of Vulcan Blaze's elite warriors. He was the right-hoof pony of Vulcan and the most skilled swordspony among his crew. He was usually seen by Vulcan's side. When not with Vulcan, he was off on missions such as assassinations or gathering the other elite warriors. He believes in Vulcan's philosophy that only the fittest survive (social Darwinism). "If you're strong you live, if you're weak you die". His favorite sword was the Kikuichimonji-norimune, which was cracked by Crimson's Katana during a contest of Battōjutsu. He is the one responsible for the assassination of many important members of the Royal Guard.
