Appearance: <p> <span>A tall Fresian style pegasus, white with pale lavender purple eyes. His mane and tail are gray and long, with a few accent braids along the side of the main, and a tail that drags the ground. He does have at least three piercings in each ear, two silver studs and a loop. Mori also wears a simple white collar with a black tie, that holds a diamond tie pin.</span> </p> <p>   </p>

Personality: <p> <span>Momento Mori, or "Mori" for short is a quiet, gentle individual who keeps to himself. He's easy going, loves good humour, always enjoying a good laugh. Seen at times to be a bit intimating this is only the outward appearance as his personality hints at none of that. He has a kind patience and loves taking long, quiet walks by moonlight. At home he enjoys hardly anything more (other than his job of course) to sit by the fire with a book and a cup of Earl Grey tea. If you do happen to strike up a conversation with this very withdrawn stallion, you'll find he is soft spoken and rarely yells or raises his voice in any manner, though again, he loves to laugh and urges people to tell their best stories and jokes. He loves learning about other cultures and creatures around Equestria and the world beyond and has a habit of studying them and world maps in his off-time. Travelling is one of his favourite things, but mostly when he was younger. Now that he's settled in, he likes to share his own stories of where hes' been and the individuals he's met. Rumour has it that he's spoken with Dragons, the Cats of Abyssia, and even the Hippogriffs though that one is a stretch. </span> </p>

Backstory: <p> <span>Not much is known about where Mori comes from, but currently he works as the local Mortician in Canterlot. He is not opposed to travelling for his job though and has his own hearse style carriage that he pulls along with him. This tends to give him an eerie look though he is far from evil or cruel. Since he keeps to himself and feels that the vivacious and colourful lifestyle of most of Equestria doesn't quite fit with his sombre job, he keeps most of his personal information to himself, and bothers no one with it. He is known to have a cute admiration for Princess Celestia but it is a quiet and humble respect and he does not actively seek out her attention, nor her love or actively seek out love. Keeping to himself because of his job, feeling no one would want to be bothered by it's darker and more serious tones.</span> </p> <p> <span>However, for a short stint, he did live in Cloudsdale, but to most seemed to only blend into the background and wasn't really a pony of interest. He was born well before Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, so he doesn't know them on level at all in any way. However he is familiar with Daring Do (or in this case JK Yearling) and has read her books. She has sought him out a couple times on information on the various cultures and how they handled and celebrated death to better understand her adventures. But the visits have gotten less and less over the years, though it's rumoured he still writes to her when possible. Other than that there is no other real relationship there, besides colleagues. His parents have long since passed away but they too were Morticians (and Pegasi) and he carries out the families duties in revered silence.</span> </p>
