Personality: A tiny bit like Rainbow Dash but not quite. She's competitive and loves speed, but that's where the similarities stop. She doesn't trust very easily and tends not to be reliable, as she often disappears for days at a time for no apparent reason. She does, however, always return. She doesn't talk much at all and has an impressive temper.

Backstory: I've actually been writing a fanstory about this. She lived in Canterlot for a while as somewhat of a project of Princess Luna's; almost like Twilight Sparkle, but more of an apprentice than a student and she didn't have an interest in books and little in magic. Unfortunately for Moonless, she had enemies in Canterlot and didn't stay for very long after a certain episode with a member of the Royal Guard. She flew to Ponyville and discovered that she loved living in the clouds and so found a job at the Weather Factory at Cloudsdale. She's not much different from any other pegasus except for the fact that she knows how things work at Canterlot and she does not drool over gossip about the place. (Too formal. She's kind of...wild.) And she has magic, a little.<br /><br />Neither Moonless nor Princess Luna (or Celestia) can figure out whether she's an alicorn or just a pegasus; she has magic inside of her but no legitimate horn. It's a bit like she was supposed to be a unicorn but was born without a physical unicorn horn. (Wow. A lot of that rhymed.) The two little horns on her head are... Well, she doesn't really know, but they have something to do with her magic, which is different from other unicorns'. It basically just makes her physically a lot more powerful, and she also tends to 'speak thunderstorm language.'<br /><br />She still doesn't really know what the heck she is, but it's not a life's goal to figure it out, though it would be a nice thing if one day the answer presented itself. Otherwise, it doesn't bother her.
