Personality: Mystic is a very generous and kind pony. She is also very honest, sometimes too honest. She is known to be humorous. But at the worst of times she can go overboard with jokes. She can snap very easily when you tick her off. She can sometimes snap so much that she can go insane. But other than this she can be a great friend. <br /><br />Why does she have horns? Because she's a Homestuck fan! She's also a fan of memes, so she mentions them a lot. She's also a gamer. <br />

Backstory: Mystic's backstory is a somewhat tragic one, but also a joyful story. <br /><br />She was born and raised in Philydelphia by a Pegasus and an Earth pony. Her parents were very wealthy and kind people who usually used their massive amount of money for charities. She went to a private school when she was in kindergarten and had many friends in the class. In second grade, her teacher had a fish tank. She was soon amazed by these amazing creatures. She loved the variety of these fish and soon wanted to own some. When she came home she immediately asked her parents to get her fish. But her parents decided to get her fish on her birthday. So when it was finally her birthday, she got a clown fish. She was so happy that she ran into her room and started to take care of her clown fish. In a year she learned to take care of it so well that her cutie mark showed up. She knew instantly what her future was. <br /><br />Everything was going well for her. Then when she was 10, something terrible happened. When she was going to the movies to see a movie with her family, a massacre happened in the theater she was in. An insane unicorn escaped from an asylum and stole one of the guards pistol. He headed straight for the movie theater since he had a huge incident <br />there. He shot everyone he could and unfortunately , he shot Mystic's parents. She evacuated the theater with no injuries and called the police. This was the first of the unfortunate events that occurred for her for the following 2 years. But on the bright side she got to live with her uncle and aunt at Los Pegasus. Downside, they weren't as wealthy as her Mom and Dad. <br />So she moved from a private school to a public school. Learning wise she thought she was being taught less than private school. On the bright side, she got to meet tons of new friends. Plus she got interested in movies. <br />But after high school, she finally got to go to the job she had dreamed of: A marine biologist. <br />Since she had excellent grades, it was no problem getting in. <br />When did she get into dolphins? During her second year, a new animal arrived. It was a dolphin, but with a broken flipper. As soon as she saw this poor animal, she wanted to help it. But the only problem, she only studied on fish and had never helped with a dolphin before. So she went home after work and researched the dolphin species. On the next day she went to her boss and wanted to see if she could help work on a new flipper that was being developed at the laboratory where she was working at. Her boss rejected the idea, but he offered Mystic a task for getting the dolphin back on track. She then accepted the task. So a few days later, she went into the tank that the dolphin was in, and said hello to it. But it wasn't easy getting to know the dolphin because it was very shy. But after giving it a few strokes, Mystic noticed that the dolphin started to like her. Mystic soon found out that the dolphin didn't have a name yet, so she decided to call it Jax. Over the course of six months, they became great companions and Jax recovered well. But the next year, Jax had fully recovered, and it was time for the little guy to leave and go back to the ocean. <br />Mystic missed Jax a lot when it left. She soon got to work on other dolphins but none of them were as great as Jax.
