Personality: Nightmare Neon is a Lonely pony, which his how the nightmare forces got to her. She is bitter to those that she thinks are talking about her behind her back even jokes set her off. But, as she is learning about friendship, she's turned into a loyal friend, and is slowly getting better with her temper.

Backstory: There were two times that the nightmare forces were defeated by the mane six. Onc, to save Princess Luna, and the second to save Rarity. Though it was believed the rest of the nightmares were destroyed, they were not. They knew that using ponies who the mane six knew well. they decided to branch out, finding Neon in the process. The nightmares made an easy target of her, as she often felt left out by even her closest friend, and they would whisper thing to her that would scare her further. Eventually, She invited them in, eagerly accepting the friendship that they had to offer. The nightmares were overcome with joy, they had finally won her over, and not only that, but she loved to read, this host was a smart one. And they waited, shutting them and Neon away for months, up until they grew strong enough to overcome the mane six.<br /><br />Eventually, enough time passed, and She equipped her battle armor of black and royal's purple, storming the castle, she defeated even celestia with no trouble and the elements bounced off of her armor, with barely any power to stop the nightmares. She gave a laugh as darkness began to spread over equestria. Twilight Sparkle began asking around, and many ponyville residents were unable to tell anything about her, as nopony knew who Neon once was. She came upon a home nearly before she'd given up, to find a special group of three, a Discord Worshipper, a Veteran, and a Shadow. each of which explained to Twilight that Neon was a dear friend to the group, and were surprised to hear what had happened to their beloved friend. Twilight immediately brought them to the castle, where Nightmare Neon stood upon a throne of black glass, grinning down at her, but this time, her friends wielding the elements. The combined their power to bring the Neon they loved back, but even if they brough her back, she had made a pact with the Nightmares, they kept her body this way, as she would embrace the nightmare's in their loneliness, and she would remain this way, while her friends were celebrated.
