Appearance: Nightshade is taller than most ponies. Her coat is a dull silver. Her mane and tail are blue and purple and have layers in them. Her eyes are purple a narrow.

Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is a beautiful purple flower surrounded by five bright red berries. They symbolized her manipulative magic and crude nature covered up by her sweet smiled.

Personality: Nightshade is simple and sweet at first glance but can be manipulative and rude. She uses other ponies to get what she wants and rarely finds a pony she doesn't hate with a passion. She isn't a very likable person.

Backstory: Nightshade grew up with loving parents. Late one winter night, they were on a train going home. Snow was coming down hard and the train slid off the tracks, fatally injuring many of the riders. Nightshade was uninjured and was immediately put into the foster care system. <br /><br />Feeling alone and helpless, Nightshade began closing herself in and separating herself from others. She eventually became obsessed with magic and taught herself everything she could. <br /><br />At the age of ten she found a book at the back of the library on trickery and dark magic. It intrigued her more than anything else she had ever read. After mastering several of the spells in the book, her cutie mark appeared on her flank, a long awaited gift.
