Appearance: Body: Solid black, with just the barest hint of more lightly marked freckles (inverted, from the picture). Ears are frizzed with fur at the end (dissimilar from the picture, and more similar to true bat ponies). Wings are veined, and contain an extra clawed "thumb" at the tip (Also similar to real bat ponies). Possesses fangs.<br /><br />Eyes: Bright sky blue, with narrow slitted pupils, typical of bat ponies. Typically bright eyed and very expressive. Hidden behind specially designed lenses in the daytime, to prevent damage.<br /><br />Scents: The lightest hint of peppermint. And no one knows why.<br /><br />Voice:<br />Speaks in a relatively high pitched but powerful, optimistic voice<br /><br />Mane: Dusty grey, streaked with gold. Kept up neatly, so it doesn't interfere with her activities.

Cutie Mark: Three sound waves radiating in either direction on her flank, signifying her echolocative abilities, and her particularly sharp hearing.

Personality: Positive. Hardly a thing seems to get her down, or dampen her spirits. Even on the small occasion that something does get under her skin, she'll simply bounce back into her normal, cheerful self, if given even the lightest of pushes. Has the ability to see the upside to almost any situation, and likes to try to carry it over to her friends around her, if she can.<br /><br />Determined. Won't stop until she gets what she wants, or until she gets where she wants to go. Likes to attack problems from different angles, and isn't afraid to go ask someone for help if the situation presents itself. If all options are exhuasted, however, still remains a graceful loser. Won't feel good about the fact, but won't blow her stack or go over the top, either.<br /><br />Social. Is somewhat selective about who she makes friends with, due to security reasons, and the light stigma most ponies have against her species. However, opens up fully around her friends, and loves to talk and interact with others.<br /><br />Strengths:<br />Endless amounts of enthusiasm.<br /><br />A great sense of direction.<br /><br />Boundless amounts of courage.<br /><br />Weaknesses:<br />Sunlight is an inconvenience, and can burn her skin if she stays directly under it for too long. Backstory: - A batpony night guard who works under Princess Luna's command. Having been there only for a short time, she's somewhat inexperienced, but she attempts to make up for it with more than her fair share of hard work.<br /><br />- Born in the batpony colony Luna discovered in the Western caves (See the book Princess Luna and the Festival of the Winter Moon), though long after the princesses visit. She lived there for most of her life, in a quiet, secluded setting, though just the rumors of the excitement the batponies of the night guard came across was enough for her. She left as soon as she was old enough to make the trip by herself, and was ushered in after a long process of proving herself, very slowly but surely making her into the position she'd dreamed of.<br /><br />-Earned her cutie mark in saving her colony. Unbeknowst to the group, a group of Greater spiders, natural enemies to the group over territory, had moved in, and were staging an invasion. Though normally a batponies ears are incredibly sharp, the spiders had adapted to moving around silently, and thus could go around undetected by even the sharpest of hearers. Save Nox, who caught the faintest of scuffles, and managed to alert the group in time to circumvent the attack, beating the spiders at their own game.
