Well no... the idea of this OC is from RingWraiths (L.O.T.R.) and my weird dream combined.

Pretty much a grim looking warrior with dark magic touch, but your reference about StarWars was most likely. XP

Not even one of Falza's dark magic finisher "neutralizer" could take down that counter spell in one shot?

The spell would likely be blocked and dispelled by Defiant Defender's counterspell on contact, rendering the engulfing effect unactivated. An above average spell, likely would require 4 hits to get through.

Though that weapon arsenal alone would probably give him hell.

Beast channeling( large monster) would be the best bet if you were attempting to best him solely with magic.

It would pound relentlessly at the shield until eventually it would break, and that's not accounting for the seperate use of your own magic attacking him as he dealt with the shadow beast.

Of course, if you tried to start a fight with it, he'd be on the defensive, and avoid it, heading directly for you.

Dark caster would be your utter worst finisher to use, especially if it is a one time use.

 I could even shift Dark Caster into a large narrow sonic slash, giving extreme cutting power... but I guess that "sharpness" doesn't apply to that counter spell XP... so yah your probably right.

Seemingly true.... also dark magic is somewhat more powerful than normal magic (as I heard).... sooooo Neutralizer would have a stronger perspective at this version than expected. Neutralizer is pretty much his #1 finisher.

It's vacuum effect would cause non-magic damage aswell.... compresses large amounts of air and any other objects including the ground itself (if fractured or loose)

which the "engulfing" could produce on contact.

If  Neutralizer explodes.... doom

If Neutralizer is prevented from exploding.... survived... but you might want to worry about that densified shot ( hits like a 50 cal.)
