Backstory: When he was a colt his mother, a important political figure, was assassinated by a Saddle Arabian agent. Nova's father is a commander in the equestrian guard and he was the person who drove Artyom to want to become a solder as well, not only no get revenge for his loved ones death but to protect other ponies from the same fate.
