Appearance: Nova's coat is a light, powdery blue, with an almost glowing shine that resembles the heat of a powerful star. Her ombre mane and tail have flowing curls of deep purple at the roots that fade to a light lavender at the ends. Her glittering sapphire eyes sparkle like the heavens.

Personality: Nova is very proud, and considers herself quite mature, but she has a light playful side that she keeps hidden. However, this self-entitlement makes her prone to being rather bossy and nagging, but she is a caring perfectionist.

Backstory: Nova used to live in Canterlot with her older sister, Scarlett, and her parents, but she disliked the bustle of the city and moved to the reserved countryside of Ponyville per her friend's request. Nova's passion is astronomy, and it's easier to view the stars in Ponyville (light pollution in Canterlot makes this activity difficult).
