Personality: Novel Writer is a studious young filly who loves stories and is inspired by the ancient legends. She likes using big words and practicing her magic. She will stand up for her friends, but only if it's logical to do so. She is sweet, but doesn't bother sugarcoatiing facts.

Backstory: Novel Writer was born and raised in Romaris. She didn't care if she didn't get her Cutie Mark just yet- she just wanted to learn about her country's history and practice her magic. She met a scatterbrained filly named Toodle Flipsy, her became her friend. With her permission, Novel Writer practiced her spells on Toodle Flipsy. Eventually, the two ponies spent more time with their various projects that they struggled in school, so they got detention. It was there that they met Lightning Crackle and formed the Cutie Mark Marauders. The three have been best friends ever since.
