Appearance: Novelle has a white coat with a bluish tint to it. Her coat is often messy due to the fact she ignores the fact one must brush their coat most of the time. On the other hoof, her mane and tail are pristine condition, except for a tuft of hair on her head with has the nasty habit to stick up in like a unicorn's horn. She often wears hats to hid it. In fact, she wears hats most days. One can often find her wearing a beanie, fedora or some other kind of hat. Her face is usually smiling with her bluely-grey eyes twinkling.

Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is an open book with two sparks of magic coming out of it. It represents her nature talent to make words also come out of the page and immerse you in the world of the book.

Personality: Novelle is a quiet earth pony most of the time. She tends to care about others around her unless they have offended her in some way. She tends to get angry quickly when people offend her, even if they didn't mean it. She is quite friendly and makes friends easily but it takes a long time for her to trust anyone. <br />She is hardworking and likes learning new things but hates science and magic theory. She isn't a clean freak but hates getting her hands very dirty and will only do it if she really has to. <br />She is quite dreamy and daydreams regularly. When she's like this, it's hard to get her attention. She usually thinks about story ideas and characters or really ramdom stuff.

Backstory: She grew up in Trottingham in an apartment with her Mom, Arty Fact, an art historian. She never knew who her father is. she has ask her mother on several occasions who he is but she would never give a straight answer. Her current theory involves a party, Sombra and a drunk Arty Fact.<br /><br />She attended her local school. She enjoys Equestrian, Prench and history. She absolutely hates science and Agricultural science but is ok with maths. One time, she entered a competition in her school to write a short story about the prompt 'Lacking Magic'. She ended up writing too much for the contest but got the now novel published over a number of weeks in her school paper. She received her cutie mark late one night when she finished writing the story. She only noticed she got it the next day when she was in the shower. <br /><br />She spends her spare time writing, reading, organising her large collection of hats and going on long walks. She spends her summers with distant relatives in different parts of Equestria due to the fact her mother spends the summer travelling Equestria, giving talks on ancient Equestrian art. One year, she spend her summer in Canterlot with an old unicorn called Chocolate Eclair, an old friend of Arty. Choco was nice and gave her lovely food every day but Novelle was disgusted by how she was treated by some ponies there. She was often told parts of the libraries there was only for unicorns and one bold spoilt brat told her, "Get back to your hole in the ground, Earthy". this had a profound effect on her and to this day, Novelle has trouble trusting unicorns, especially if there from Canterlot.
