Appearance: As a changeling, he assumes many forms, of multiple ponies. He uses Deception, and can copy the form of almost anypony he sees.<br /><br />In his normal form, however, he wanders around in a Brown Cloak.

Personality: Sneaky. He has a silver tongue, and will try to convince others that what he needs is right. He is kind to those who know he is a changeling, but if they don't, he will trick them until they believe him. For example, He normally wanders around equestria as a merchant. If someone comes and doesn't buy anything from his store, he might disguise as their friend and trick them into buying something.

Backstory: Born in the Changeling town of Ka-Raieth, Onyx Nighwing had a fairly normal childhood for a changeling. but when he grew older, his parents insisted he join the Military under the rule of Queen Chrysalis. He signed up, only to find that he did not believe in their methods. They thought to get the love that changelings feed off of, they needed to force their way into Equestria and take it over.<br /><br />To not disappoint his parents, he ran from his country, fleeing into the only place Chrysalis would never look - Equestria Itself. Running from his country in a country that hates his kind was hard, so when he first encountered a traveling merchant, he killed him silently, and hid the body.<br /><br />Taking on the form of the now-dead merchant, he took to the road with what little he could find in the merchant's cart. A Brown Cloak, small daggers, a knapsack, and some money.<br /><br />He was in Canterlot the day Chrysalis attacked it. He ran, but for a different reason. should he be found with the enemy, the punishment is death. He ran, and ran, and ran, and eventually ended up at the Crystal Kingdom, still locked in time. he hid there, in the far north, locked away from the world, for a year.<br /><br />After The crystal Kingdom was unlocked, the cave he lived in flooded. He looked up at the towering Statue of Crystal above him, and promised himself then and there to never stop running. To get away from Chrysalis and his past.<br /><br />Adopting the form of a Crystal Pony, he set to the roads as a merchant once more, determined never to be found by his past, and only to look for a brighter future.
