Appearance: <p> Oregano is a tall, white coated unicorn with a bobbed curly teal mane. She has lighter, greenish-blue eyes and a short, curled tail. Her ear has a cut in the upper center. This cut was there from birth. </p>

Cutie Mark: <p> Oregano's cutie mark is a puff of teal smoke encompassing three leaves. The smoke represents the magical part of her destiny. The leaves represent the herbal part of it. Together, her cutie mark tells of her destiny to learn herbal magic </p>

Personality: <p> Oregano is a positive, hard-working unicorn. Living on a farm has allowed her to have drive. She can, however, work herself too hard. Even worse, she can work herself in magic too hard, often resulting in using too much magic and tiring her powers out. Living on a farm has also made her realize she has to stay positive, because bad attitudes don't do anything but stop her from reaching her goals. However, this may cause her to not be able to communicate her true feelings. This can lead to her bottling up feelings for a long time, until she finally has an outburst.  </p>

Backstory: <p> Oregano was born to well-off farmers in Fillydelphia. One an earth pony, and the other a unicorn. Her father, the earth pony, taught her about how the farm worked. Everything in sync with each other in a natural harmony. Getting her hooves dirty and smelling the sweet, earthy breeze was one of her best memories. However, her mother, the unicorn, also taught her about magic. Spells and incantations, hexes and jinxes, her mother knew plenty. In the reserve of money the farmers made, her mother was able to keep up her own small, personal library of magic books. Oregano also loved magic. However, she found herself torn between what she would do with her life. She loved farming AND magic. In a sense, she felt like she was choosing between her father and mother.  </p> <p> One day, while she was out with her father tending to the farm, she looked over to their small patch of herbs. They mostly grew parsley and oregano, the latter being the reason for her name. Looking at a small sapling of oregano, she closed her eyes and imagined how it would look grown. She felt a twinge in her head and opened her eyes to see the oregano sapling growing and glowing before her eyes. At that moment, her cutie mark shone through. </p>
