Appearance: Brown coat with a soft cream-colored muzzle, and fuzzy beige fetlocks.<br />Tall and sort-of-bulky thick stature, longish ears and short-cut beige mane. Wide and curious light-blue eyes.

Cutie Mark: "A fizzy root beer and straw. It represents my hope to make good root beer for everypony to enjoy, and I might be able to "drink" more knowledge from the world where we're all rooted!"

Personality: Pretty peppy and with an everlasting, insatiable desire to know more about things. (Though this usually results in more knowledge about plants and foods, and little else. At times he can be pretty absent-minded when fascinated by, well usually random things he comes across.) He's known to keep a sweet and crisply optimistic mood despite anything bad happening, but can snap into a sour mood if worse comes to worst.

Backstory: Blaze moved into Ponyville a few years ago, as part of his plan to become the best maker and mixer of soda drinks in all of Equestria. He's the youngest member of the Palomino family,(thus the P in his name), in the great fruit valleys of the San Palomino Desert south of Los Pegasus, and near the Macintosh Hills. The family history of make great ginger ales, beers, ciders and champagnes goes back almost as far as the Apple family, and Blaze is proud of his family's roots (pun intended).<br /><br />He's fine with ponies addressing him by his last name as a nickname.
