Painted Crest

Appearance: Painted Crest is a slender built Pegasus whose coat is a light grey in color. She has feathery wings that are fairly large compared to her body size. When folded together they cover her sides and a portion of her Cutie Mark. Her hair is a few different colors. Her frock is shaggy and brushed over her left eye. Her mane covers the left side of her neck and a log braid falls over her right ear and rests against the right side of her neck. Her hair color is Red, with brown and white highlights throughout it. Throughout her braid the colors mix and blend colorfully. Her tail is of the same colors but falls just over the ground, it's tip scuffing the ground when she walks. It is slightly shaggy with a small curve at the base. She has large blueish grey eyes to compliment her matte coat color.

Cutie Mark: Her Cutie Mark is a pencil and a paint brush crossed together at there bottoms with red paint forming a crest above the paint brush and dark grey graphite forming a crest above the pencil. Both the paint and the graphite cross together at the end of the crest, forming a heart all together. <br /><br />Her Cutie mark represents her passion for art and literature. She spends most of her nights painting a masterpiece or writing a glorious piece of work.

Personality: Painted Crest rivals Fluttershy with her own shyness. She has trouble asking for things at the market, let alone talking to others. She tends to keep to herself in crowds but if you get to know this pony she will surprise you. She is full of ideas and loves to talk about them. She will help anypony in need, despite her shyness. She can't stand to see anypony in distress. She is a very bright pony with a bright future but with no confidence in herself.

Backstory: Painted Crest grew up in Cloudsdale with every other pegasus. She lives in a small house with her mother. Her father on the other hand passed away a few years after her own birth. She didn't know him very well but stories from her mother kept his memory alive. He was a successful pony, a non-pegasus named Powerful strife. Her mother was known as Shimmering Wing. <br /><br />Painted Crest is known in Cloudsdale and in some parts of Equestria, mostly in Manehattan and Ponyville for her paintings and books. A few hang in galleries in Manehattan's art district, while a few of her published children's books are in the Golden Oak Library. This being said she often travels to Manehattan to visit galleries and art parties held by a few friends she's come to know through her art. <br /><br />She often traveled to Ponyville as will to buy fresh apples from apple acres for her mother and visited the library, reading book after book. She often saw the elements of harmony (Main characters) but never willed herself to speak to them, thus ending any idea of there friendship. <br /><br />As she aged she began to get slightly antsy with living in Cloudsdale so her mother aloud her to move to Ponyville, where she soon got a job at the bookshop in town, where she is a cashier as well as a shelf organizer. She lives currently in a small house on the boarders of town where she can have peace and quiet.
