Appearance: A blue coat with a dark-light blue mane. Has green eyes. Keeps his mane will cut and groomed preferring to look presentable. A bit frail and has little muscle on him.

Cutie Mark: Two crossed bandages representing his skill in medicine.

Personality: Happy yet cautious. He takes time to be considerate of his actions and words. Easily panicked even when working on a patient. Rather then voice his anger he gets frustrated and often times storms off refusing to talk for a while. If something is wrong will think it was his fault somehow. When he gives someone doctor's orders he plans to enforce those orders. Has severe anxiety problems leading to snap decisions, shacking, and denial of anything wrong.<br /><br />He has a dark side that even he is almost unaware of. At times of severe pressure and a need for action he will go into an unstoppable rage nearly destroying anything that gets in his way. This is excluded is stressed. Only happens if the problems is sudden.

Backstory: Patches was born to a unicorn family in Trottingham who soon after his birth moved to Canterlot. He had an average childhood for a colt through school and at home. He was a smart colt though. He was an A student and his parents made sure he kept to it. Once he got out of high school he got a scholarship at the prestigious Canterlot Medical Collage. There he studied the anatomy of many species and learned how to treat each one. The school was rigorous and hard teaching many types of medical treatment from surgery to triage treatment. During the attack on Canterlot by the Changelings he got his real taste of medical work. The Canterlot hospital had called upon the collage for more workers to handle the large flux of injuries in the attack. While most were injuries were just broken bones and cuts Patches got assigned to help with the more serious injures. The experience was morbid to Patches who had only seen injures like this in diagrams and in text books. The experience changed his look on medical work altogether and he dropped out of the school to the dismay of his family and professors who saw a good career ahead of him. This was around the same time he meet her. Silver Cast. She was beautiful, at least to him. She was working to become a doctor in her hometown of Haycart outside of the city. It was love at first sight for Patches. He chased the unicorn mare across the city to talk to her. To his glee she shared his sentiment toward her and the two lovebirds were constantly together. When Patches dropped out however Silver Cast stayed to finish her work. Patches now wanders Equestria looking for work his saddlebags full of medical supplies. <br /><br />He meet Atlas after Atlas had stumbled out of a forest cut up and with broken bones. Patches stuck with him for the next few weeks treating him and giving him someone to talk to. They keep in touch and meet up every so often.
