Appearance: Peeps is of an above average height and average weight in Ponyville. Peeps has a medium length wavy mane and tail that are scarlet in colour with butter yellow streaks. Her body is crimson. She keeps her mane in a wash and go type of style because she lacks the inclination or capability to keep herself looking neat and tidy. Peeps often has an unkempt mane and tail and is always a little dusty due to her curious nature leading her to some rather unexpected places.

Cutie Mark: Peeps's cutie mark is a magnifying glass with a shadow. Her talent is her curiosity and deductive reasoning skills. The magnifying glass represents her interest in and ability to see things others do not. The shadow represents that dark side of those aspirations as Peeps sometimes forget to value the privacy of others as much as she should. Peeps discovered her talent as a young filly in primary school. She began writing articles for the foal free press, but she didn't want to print anything she wasn't sure about so she would try to gather as much evidence for each of her pieces as possible. This made her unpopular with her editor as she would often miss a deadline due to becoming wrapped up in gathering details.

Personality: Peeps is friendly, upbeat, and high energy. She's very curious and can come across as nosy sometimes. She is genuinely interested in collecting as much information as she can. Peeps is helpful and gladly takes on any case brought to her. She is absent minded however and doesn't quite 'get' social mores so she often comes off as awkward or distracted in social situations.

Backstory: Peeps has lived in Ponyville her whole life. She was born here, she went to school here, and she still lives in the same cottage she was raised in. Her parents have moved to Fillydelphia to get a different place in the city closer to some friends of theirs. They left Peeps the cottage all to herself. Peeps has many acquaintances but very few friends because she most often operated alone, but recently she has become lonely and sad. She wonders if friendship is something she is sorely missing. She has decided that maybe should place less importance on knowing about ponies and more on knowing them.
