Cutie Mark: A crimson cross in a black outline. Phoenix isn't sure what it means since he was asleep when he gained it. He is sure he was dreaming about something, but can't place it. Phoenix believes that it stands for his commitment to the Princesses.

Personality: Mostly casual, but can get very depressed or violent if parts of his past are mentioned. He isn't afraid to fight for what he believes is right and is very physical. He doesn't like to talk much so he expresses himself in physical contact and facial expressions. He is very open-minded to controversial things such as homosexuality and inter-species relationships. He isn't real keen on incest, however. He has a deep crush on Applejack.

Backstory: Phoenix grew up in Las Pegasus and stayed there until he was 21. At the age of 17 his parents were killed in a home invasion. He turned very cold hearted and cruel to his friend, Cloudchaser, and his marefriend Crystal Night. His emotions climaxed one night when he began to beat Crystal Night to death. He was stopped by Cloudchaser and served 1 year in prison. He eventually got out by helping guards in a prison riot. From then on he worked to clear his name by serving in the Las Pegasus Domestic Response Unit. However, after three years of service he was still despised by most ponies and moved to Ponyville to escape. He currently works as a farmhoof on Sweet Apple Acres.
