Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is a gem with tiny white stars following it. I haven't really figured out a meaning yet...

Personality: Princess Silvermoon is calm, like her mother. She loves friendship, and tries to help anypony who really needs it.

Backstory: In the first part of the story, Princess Silvermoon is born. Princess Cadance and Shining Armor throw a big celebration party for her arrival. She is then crowned next in line to be Princess of the Crystal Empire. But one tragic day, Princess Cadance was attacked by Changelings and their rules, Queen Chrysalis. This happened when she was 7, and Princess Silvermoon tried her best to save her mother. But alas, Princess Cadance died, and Silvermoon became the new Princess of the Crystal Empire. She still remembers the attack from this very day, and will hold on to the memory for generations to come.
