Appearance: Though her picture says it all, it is worth noting that Purl takes after her mother almost exclusively in looks.

Personality: Purl Wise is a sweet, sensitive soul who enjoys making things for others. Be it warm scarves, pot-holders, blankets-- you name it, she'll have it ready for you in no time! However, because she is so shy, Purl has few real friends. She is also very emotional, so it's incredibly easy to make her cry.

Backstory: Surprisingly enough, Purl Wise was born and raised in Manehatten. Her parents and three boisterous older siblings were into the city life, but Purl always felt out of place. After she spent a week with her cousin in Ponyville one summer, she discovered her love of knitting and decided to move there and work out of her home. She has since met the eccentric, free-spirited Skyskimmer, and despite their polar opposite personalities, the two have become the best of friends!
