Backstory: Quake was born into a tribe of Earth Ponies who were fierce warriors. Growing up as the largest of his peers, Quake was expected to be the greatest of their warriors. He wasn't. Quake always prefered tending to the sick and wounded and playing with the small animals of the forest rather than fighting. He could easily fight to defend someone or something, but fighting for sport made him feel sick. His father, one of the tribe's elders, approached him one day and asked him, "Do you want to be a warrior?" Quake couldn't meet his fathers gaze and looked down in shame. Seeing this, his father told him, "The place of one mother is not always the place of his blood." Quake understood what his father meant, he was born to be a warrior, he was destinded to be something else. With that and a pair of bracelets to remind him of his home, Quake left his tribe to find another path for his life.
