Cutie Mark: Betta Fish Freak's cutie mark are sound waves.<br /><br />Betta got this cutie mark when she was young, about 13. She got her cutie mark when she discovered that her voice, when used correctly, can emit sound waves that can easily make anypony within the listening area go into a state of confusion, which has assisted her on heists.

Personality: When Thylacine was Betta Fish Freak, she possessed a mainly happy-go-lucky attitude, and was happy to be able to show it. Later in life, right before Betta became Thylacine, the happy-go-lucky personality of the past began to fade, and turn into the dark, angry, and vengeful spirit of Captain Thylacine. However, there is still good deep inside of her, and that original personality will shine every once in a while.

Backstory: On a cold Winter's night on the planet Zumbru, a filly was born among the deep purple landscape. A pony whose name would be known throughout the history books of time and space: Betta Fish Freak, otherwise known as the infamous Space Outlaw Captain Thylacine. How did such an innocent filly become such a wretched outlaw? Allow me to elucidate.<br />In the first few years after her birth, Betta Fish Freak adopted a love of the paranormal, after seeing many specters herself. Many question these specters existence, but many ponies believe that the filly had mental problems, which, in fact, was quite true. However, everypony at a young age on that planet had the same handicap as her, the ability to see those who had died. However, due to her very poor childhood, Betta could not afford the surgery in which they could remove this handicap from Betta at all, and by the time Betta had enough money to do the surgery, it was too late, as ponies had to get rid of this by the age of 14, or else the handicap would be permanently in the body. Betta spent much of her time talking to these specters, many of which Betta thought she could relate to. She was loving towards them, however, with a burning passion to be loved lying just underneath her skin. <br />After talking to the spirits of the dead, Betta had a shaking revelation: These spirits wouldn't tease her if they didn't die in the first place. Pleased with the discovery, Betta took up work, after many years, as an ER doctor. However, the spirits she knew from the beginning were still with Betta as she tried to perform her daily duties. The specters, though, we're becoming hostile, as they seemed to cause death, and Betta was preventing them from getting their goal. The darkness seemed to close in on her, and Betta realized she needed help. She quickly, and ever so hastily befriended three other doctors, but she never talked to them much, and that sticks all the way until today. Betta tried and tried to work, but the spirits seemed to claw at her very mane and coat. Frustrated, Betta snapped, completely lashing out in pure fury. When it was all said and done, the hospital Betta worked at lie in ruins. "What have I done?!" She questioned, starting to cry in her hooves. "I only wanted to safe lives... I loved doing it..." She sobbed. She finally made up her mind that it wasn't her fault. She decided then and there that she would rebuild the hospital. Unsure of how, the specters returned to her, and offered one idea for the collection of the funds needed to build a new hospital. <br />"Steal it." Was their only piece of dirty, rotten advice. Broken down, and near the point of insanity, Betta began to rob banks, and other agencies, changing her own name from Betta Fish Freak to the infamous name of Captain Thylacine. After doing this for a while, Betta regained some sense, and fought back at the specters, keeping them at bay, at least for now. Already given the title of an infamous outlaw, Thylacine decided it was time to go big or go home. With all the money she had stolen, Thylacine abandoned her past dream, and bought a space ship. She then started using the ship to travel to other planets to commit the nasty and dastardly deeds, gaining the not so noble title of Space Outlaw, and keeps it to this day.<br />However, through all this, Thylacine's original hope still stick with her: a burning passion to be loved. Thylacine keeps hope and knows that one day love may indeed find her, but for now, she's content with doing her current line of work: being the most notorious Space Outlaw in the known universe
