Appearance: A golden-brown mare that is slightly taller than average. Slim and fairly athletic looking. A long, wavy mane of deep, dark brown crowns her face.

Cutie Mark: An ornate longsword. The hilt is gold with a large ruby encrusted in the centre. The blade shimmering silver that gets brighter until it reaches the tip. At the tip a bright nova of white light expands out in a circle. This cutie mark exemplifies Radiance's skill of strategy in battle. Her wisdom guides the blade to strike at the opponent's achilles' heel. It also displays her luxurious flair.

Personality: You would not guess it from meeting her, Radiance is a down to earth extremely caring pony. At least she was. Radiance hopes that filly is still alive in her somewhere. She carries herself in the most regal of manners. With an upright, dominant posture, Radiance carries herself as if she owns everything around her.<br /><br />Radiance has no respect for her underlings, especially the underlings in the Royal Guard. She has sacrificed so much to get into her seat of power, why should she have any concern for those unwilling or unable to claim wealth or power? To colleagues and superiors her attitude changes completely. Radiance is very in tune with other's emotions and thoughts and alters her behaviour accordingly. Comforting when needed, tough when wanted, and above all else manipulative. She will, and does everything she can to get into the good books of every ranking citizen. Who knows when she will need to call in a favour?

Backstory: There is the face of the Royal Guard, the commander of the Royal Guard. He who receives all the attention and worship of the common folk. However every elite pony knows, that the true power is held by the commanding strategist. He guides the strike of the Royal Guard.<br /><br />The recruitment of Radiance to the position of commanding strategist came as a shock to many ponies. Not many knew she even existed before then. Radiance dismisses question about her promotion and her past. She simply answers with a "hard work and motivation," or "I have sacrificed everything for the good of the Royal Guard."<br /><br />Radiance has been very successful in her positions for many years. She started long before the infamous war between Celestia and Luna that resulted in the imprisonment of Luna on the moon. This has caused Radiance to realize one thing, Celestia is no longer fit to rule Equestria. This dilemma must be rectified for the good of the people.<br />
