Species: Earth Pony

Appearance: Rai is an earth pony of average size and weight. She has short blue hair, purple eyes and a pale gray coat.

Cutie Mark: Rai's cutie mark is a gray question mark covered by a gray handled golden magnifying glass. This represents her passion of gathering information, discovering new things and, later in life, her job of being a detective.

Personality: Rai is generally a quiet and polite pony, although she can seem a bit cold and sarcastic when you first meet her. However, if you make friends with her, you'll realize that she really does value the friendships she has made and is always concerned for her friends. She can go to great lengths in order to help others. When she grows closer to a person, she gradually opens up to them and begins to trust them. She has a bit of a dry sense of humor, and sometimes does questionable things which she thinks are funny.

Backstory: When she earned her cutie mark she was older than the age where most foals earn their cutie marks. She went into her school one day and found one of her friends upset. She asked him what was wrong and he told her that someone had took the snacks from his lunch. After much questioning everyone who was around the time of the 'snack-napping', she soon found out who it was by collecting all of the clues and evidence. At this point, she earned her cutie mark.
