Cutie Mark: Raincloud's cutie mark is, you guessed it, a cloud. But unlike her name, the cutie mark isn't a black raining cloud, it's just a poofy white one. she got her cutie mark when she won an art competition and she used a cloud as her material.
Personality: Raincloud is a gentle and caring pony, and can easily adapt to different situations. She isn't much of a speedster, but she doesn't lay low to the ground either. When it comes to flying, she just soars and does an occaisional flip or spin. Raincloud is also very creative, and has many original ideas. Her major flaw, is her biggest (and strangest) fear. Rainbows. Yeah, I said it, Raincloud is afraid of Rainbows. Her minor flaw, however, is that she's a klutz. (Hopefully I didn't make a Mary Sue... 0_0)
Backstory: Raincloud was born in the Pegasus captial of Cloudsdale. At a young age, her father dissapeared, and her mother worked a long job at the Weather Factory. Being unable to see her mother most of the time, Raincloud was mostly raised by her sister, Blue Skies. When the filly was in 5th grade, her mother died by being overworked. Now it was up to Blue Skies to keep their family going. The mare worked a part time job as a weather pony and raised Raincloud the other half of the time.

At the age of Eleven, Raincloud gained a hobby of making cloud art, thus gaining her cutiemark. How she gained her fear of Rainbows is a very different story. In 8th grade, her class was on a field trip, taking a tour of the Rainbow/Weather Factory. That was when Raincloud became curious of the liquid spectrum, her klutziness kicked in, and she managed to fall into the spectrum. The experience was traumatizing enough to give her a massive fear of Rainbows.

For most of the time, Raincloud and her sister were living off of earnings and some inheritance money, but everypony has to run out at some point. The sisters couldn't afford their cloud home anymore, and had no choice but to move to Ponyville. Since then, the two have been living together in an extremely small and shabby house, but are still happy for what they have
