Appearance: Record Scroll is a 19 year old female unicorn. She has a very light grey, near white, coat and a blue and light blue mane, with a style near identical to Vinyl’s when she’s alone, otherwise reasonably straight cut but not quite there. She’s of average weight, but ever so slightly above the normal height. <br /><br />Record Scroll tends to wear a copper amulet on her left forehoof, which contains two silver spheres, one has her cutie mark on it and one has her sisters, each about an eighth of the size of a fully grown ponies cutie mark. She doesn’t really like her cutie mark, which is a book, but has learnt to accept it.

Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark, a closed book tilted towards her front, symbolizes her innate ability to very quickly learn new spells by "watching" people or reading about it in books. The book also partially symbolizes her love for books and reading and her above-average intellect.

Personality: Record Scroll was born in Ponyville, and still lives there next to her sister’s house. She’s well read and very intelligent, and specializes in general defensive spells. Her main magical skill is high precision and high strength telekinesis, but also has the ability to learn almost any spell instantly by watching people or reading about it. Unfortunately, it takes her longer than most unicorns to perfect those spells so she generally has a rather small artillery of spells.<br /><br />Record Scroll is reasonably outgoing, but like to spend time alone by herself. She is very kind and finds it very hard to get angry, but when she does get angry you’re going to know about it. She’s got a good sense of humour, or so she likes to think (her humour can sometimes be quite dark).<br /><br />Record Scroll is very friendly once you get to know her, and in general trusting of most people. She’s quite generous with her friends, but not people she’s just met or doesn’t know too well. She tends to get on reasonably well with society in general but will steer away from large population centers.<br /><br />She finds being outdoors a second nature, and any chance she gets to be alone outside will be taken. But despite the reclusive nature, Record Scroll still goes to nightclubs and DJ's with her sister.<br /><br />She likes to spend time with friends and her sister, who wouldn’t, and will always stick up for them but is otherwise a pacifist. Her motivation for most things is her friends and the rest of the time things that will benefit others or give other people enjoyment, or just generally providing for others.<br /><br />Record Scroll’s favourite colour is purple/lilac, and her favorite food is marshmellows. You can pretty much get her to do anything with the promise of marshmallows. Record Scroll’s favorite time of the day, or night in this case, is the twilight hours.<br /><br />Her favourite type of music is very similar to her sisters; dubstep. Though she does indulge in the finer music from time to time. Her most treasured item links to this. Record Scroll’s most treasured item is a small silver pocket watch with Vinyl’s cutie mark on the back, it was a present from her and she keeps it within her mane. Her second most treasured item is the small copper amulet on her front left forehoof.

Backstory: Record Scroll has spent most of her life living with her twin sister in Ponyville after their parents died on their 16th birthday. At the age of 18 Record Scroll moved out into a house nearby. Not much is known about the two before Ponyville due to them both trying to forget what had happened. <br /><br />What little of their past is known remains a closely guarded secret, but Record Scroll will let slip small hints of her past without realizing it. Her parents were both unicorns, hence both daughters being unicorns as well. She was born and raised in mainly Ponyville but spent a lot of her summer time in the Canterlot Summer School for Gifted Unicorns. She dropped out after getting her cutie mark and near perfecting levitation spells.<br /><br />After her parents were killed by an accident in her foalhood home, she started to spend most of her time outside sitting in trees, effectively hiding from society.<br /><br />Nowadays, she still finds being outdoors a second nature, and any chance she gets to be alone outside will be taken. But despite the reclusive nature, Record Scroll still goes to nightclubs and DJ's with her sister.
