Appearance: A nondescript brown pony, save his shocking red mane. Heavily burn-scarred upper face, and two different-coloured eyes. Wears a black vest that may or may not be magic-proof.

Cutie Mark: The CSS headshot symbol, with the person replaced with a unicorn. Shows his prowess in marksponyship, and maybe a touch of earth-supremacism.

Personality: Red Alert is, in a word, sadistic. Of course, he'd use many other words to describe himself, among them "devilishly handsome" and "not in the least sarcastic", but sadistic is the best one to describe him. He likes to have fun, it's just his "fun" and others' "fun" tend to differ drastically, except when it comes to playing cards. While on the job, Red tends to shout abuse, order ponies around, and shoot that which needs to be shot.

Backstory: Red Alert was born in Trottgart, but moved to Manehattan at an early age. In school, he was bullied relentlessly for not only his accent and mannerisms, but also his family's taste for meat. Of course, when you grow up with bullies, you get to know how they operate, and finally Red decided it was true that the only thing a bully understands is force. A day later, his former classmate, the eleventh grader Slam Dunk had a faceful of glass, and Red had a good reason to get out of the school business. And what better place to go than the army? And as it turned out, Private Alert was a dab hoof with a rifle...
