Appearance: Large scar that resides the right side (his left) of his face. Clothing covers the wing scar markings. Character mildly limps on his left hind leg.

Personality: Age 25: Cocky, impulsive, humorous, and above all--very arrogant.<br /><br />Age 28: Kind, gentle, clumsy, humorous, and sometimes mysterious.

Backstory: While his real name is unknown, his current alias is known as Red, due to specific features and the catchy simplicity of his title. Despite looking like an earth pony, Red is in fact a Pegasus. The details of what happened are kept hidden, but will be told in this story.<br /> <br />3 years ago, Red was proficient Pegasus who excelled in his abilities. His most notable ability was his natural instinct to defend those from larger and more dangerous opponents. When growing up, his skills increased from defending weaker ponies from bullies, to battling dangerous monsters in order to keep the peace throughout Equestria. <br /> <br />Red was also the developer of a Pegasus flight form called the "Wing Step", or the ability to combine ground based footwork with wing power in order to navigate and dodge attacks in tight areas where flight seems impossible. The amount of wing power required is tremendous and requires extensive training to accomplish. <br /> <br />When gaining experience and infamy throughout Equestria, Red developed a very potent hubris-tic attitude, declaring his superiority more easily while forgetting his true kind nature. This would all change, because the next monster he would face will change his life forever.<br /> <br />A beastly demonic villain known as Tirek, had been released upon Equestria and was in preparation to ravage a nearby pony village. Red, eager to battle the monster, was ordered to stand down by Princess Celestia herself so that further gatherings of unicorns can be established. However, Red decided to disobey a direct order and pursue the monster alone, in an attempt to save the pony village residents. While Red was successful in insuring the safe evacuation of the village, Red suffered a major defeat. With his fury, Tirek invoked a terrible spell that destroyed Red's wings, and later physically struck him into the cliff side below. Luckily, the gathered unicorns, under Celestia's command, arrived to drive Tirek back into confinement.<br /> <br />Despite the amount of ponies that were saved, Red's injuries were severe. Aside his insubordination, Red's injuries included a large scar on the left side of his face, his back left hind leg permanently damaged, and his wings gone. Although it seemed his was over, Celestia offered a proposal. Since Red's actions could not be divulged to the world for valid reasons, he was instructed to live on, away from his heroic duties. The inspiration he aroused from other Pegasus ponies allowed them to pursue in the same heroic deeds of Red himself. <br /> <br />The torch was passed, and Red currently resides in an unknown part of Equestria. He now acts like a normal pony who is clumsy, kind, and gentle. His deeper heroic nature is still intact, but is rarely brought out into the open.
