Backstory: Red was born in Cloudsdale and enjoyed a fairly simple, yet trying childhood, and after turning 18, began a career as a weather pony, and for about 3 years he did his job dutifully and met a young mare named misty rain, who would come to be his fiancee. at the age of 21 he joined the Equestrian armed forces as a commissar, keeping morale up and running a "tight ship" having some of the most patriotic soldiers in the army.
