Appearance: The Demon Lord known as Resh is a monstrously huge bear-like creature with a lower half of a squid, and always dripping slime. His skin is pure black, and his eyes are beady red- he feels that this appearance is the best for him. If forced into it, he is a medium-sized ponylike creature with dark red skin, but he despises this form, as he feels it makes him seem weak, and deception 'isn't his strong suit.'
Personality: Resh is capricious- he can be happy one moment, raging against the world the next. He is usually calmer for a demon, and schemes quietly to take over Equestria so that it can 'return to it's proper form' as a place of pure chaos. He occasionally allies with other villans, and respects those that are more powerful than him (although he schemes to take that power). He is the stereotypical enemy to Shelevan, the Shadow Seer, and he holds a personal grudge against her.
Backstory: Spawned many, many years before the sealing of Tartarus, Resh spent his 'young' life as a standard rank-and-file demon, occupying his spare time with corrupting foolish mortals from multiple dimensions and assaulting the realm of Mortus to steal souls from Death. He became a full demon lord around 134 CD (Celestia Domninant) when a group of adventurers obliterated the essence of the previous one and he was the quickest to take advantage of the opening. At this time, he quietly went from Tartarus into the real world through a temporary rift, and he began to scheme.

During his time in the real world, two of his schemes have come to fruition- Resh had opened a huge rift to Tartarus in an attempt to summon one of the Avatars of Evil beneath Canterlot, as well as teamed up with another demon lord to summon an army to destroy the Crystal Empire. Fortunately for Equestria, both attempts had been foiled by the action of a small group of acolytes that follow a mysterious masked mare named Shelevan. He's been quiet the past decade, but now, he's decided, it's time to come back into world with his new plots and schemes.
