Species: Earth Pony

Appearance: He is a Dark colored pony with a deep purple mane and a shortish tail. There are Lime green highlights in both his mane and tail. His eyes have been known to unnerve other ponies. On his front right leg he carries a strange metal gauntlet. It holds three talons that appear to be made out of a purple metal that glows softly. These Talons are retractable through some form of mechanism hidden inside his gauntlet

Cutie Mark: His Cutie Mark appears as a crack, it is quite wide and if one looks closely, they can see things moving beyond. It Unnerves most ponies looking into it, but Rift finds it calming, a little bit of home.

Personality: He is a patient pony, but he has grown tired of waiting, He wants some action. He wants to fight. He has a calm demeanor but is always willing to help out anyone in need. He also has a dark side to him, he feels no remorse at tearing an enemy to shreds with his claws

Backstory: Rift grew up in the Void. In fact he considered himself a Void Pony, but that brings the question; what is the Void. The Void is a dangerous place outside of time, outside of equestria, it is the space between dimensions, just like Space is the space between worlds. It is a harsh land. But Rift left it behind. He was sent to Equestria by the clan leader to protect it from the Void Beasts. He didnt know when they would come but they would, so he was always ready, his dimension claws could tear apart reality, allowing him to teleport in a sense as well as send the beasts back to the Void.
