Backstory: When Rocky was a filly her and her dad loved playing and singing together. Her dad was a musician and one day went to Cantorlot to perform. However, the train he was in crashed and he died a day later. Even though Rocky was only 8 when he died, she still understood and began to hate music. She never wanted anything to do with it again. Rocky never went into her dads room until 3 years later when her mother (who was sick ever since her dads death) asked her to bring her a picture of him. At first she disagreed but she needed to help her mother. When she walked in, it was just how she remembered it. She saw his old guitar and her microphone. She used her magic to play the guitar and sang a lullaby her and her dad always sang. When she finished the song, her cuitemark appeared. A microphone with a heart in the wire. She knew that she wanted to follow her dads foot steps and became a musician and once again loved music.
