Cutie Mark: Rose's cutie mark is two hearts. This could mean many things to other ponies, but her cutie mark is a symbol of charm, no not romantic charm but in general all kinds of charm that bring wellness and good fortune to those who really need it most. The reason being that there two hearts is also because of the compassion and care for other ponies. The two heart both represent two things for each one, the bigger one for empathy and the smaller one for compassion. Rose discovered her special talent when helping out little colt she knew back in Manehattan. They were great friends but at the moment, her friend was going through a hard time. Being the good friend Rose for the first time experience her special talent and not only did she help her friend but got her cutie mark the same day. So how does this work? Well charm casting magic comes from within a pony (Rose), thought who express their compassion and empathy towards somepony their words and feelings combined becomes a magical essence, therefore casting a good charms. For Rose her charm castings are never negative or evil, she uses it for good.

Personality: Rose has bubbly personality, which means she’s joyful and fun loving. She’s always happy, cheery and gets over excited about the littlest things. Just like champagne is a bubbly, social beverage this makes her personality also sociable. Rose can be naïve when it comes to her emotions. She’s an open book, easy to read. Although she is like this all the time, due to her past she tends to think about it which makes her sad, but as long as she’s surrounded by friends who care, support and love her, Rose puts back her past and looks forward to the future with a smile on her face~ <br />

Backstory: Rose Shimmer born from loving parents Blossom Shimmer and Nova Inkwell of the graceful and fare unicorns. She was born with a stunning burgundy mane, a soft pink coat and beautiful, burgundy eyes. She lived in Manehattan, where mother and father loved her so much and gave only the very best for her. Rose was never spoiled, not a brat, but kind, gentle, and bubbly. It seemed as though this happiness would always stay forever, but sadly to say not all good things are meant to last. Rose's mother got very sick and being the loving husband Nova was he took care of both his wife and Rose. As Rose continued to grow she learnt new things and how to control her magic within her horn. Rose had a very special talent that was deep within her, she had a gift that even her parents saw was the greatest thing to see in such a blissful and happy daughter. Realizing her talent then came to her when helping a close friend named Static a colt who was exactly Rose's age. Rose had the talent of charm. She is able to help those who suffer and who've had misfortune. She gave them wellness and good fortune that made their lives better. Rose was a Charm Caster. Her parents we're very proud that day. As days came and went Rose was quickly catching on to what was happening to her mother, and pretty soon was catching on to her father. For being a filly, Rose was very bright and came to realized what was happening. What she didn't realize was how bad it was getting. Blossom called over her mother to take care of Rose for the time being until her and Nova made a full recovery. Rose stayed at her grandmother's place but was always disappointed with not seeing her parents. As time grew short, Rose's parants had to be rushed to the hospital. The grandmother took Rose to the hospital and waited for doctors to come back with news. One doctor said that Blossom and Nova wanted to see them both, for they knew the end was near. After grandmother spoke with them both they sent Rose in. Rose having tears in her eyes, and ran towards them both. Blossom had said: "Rose...p-please don't cry..everything will be o-okay.." "It can't be okay..you and Dad are so sick..." "I know..I know..and we wish this wasn't happening sweetie...but sometimes...things happen.." "R-Rose listen to me...no matter what happens to me and Dad promise us you'll be a good girl..and you'll help grandma too.." "I-I promise Mom.." "And no matter what happens...we will always love you...you're our special little filly Rose...we love you.." "I love to you too Mom....Mom..? Mom?? MOM!" And just like that both Blossom and Nova had passed away right in front of Rose's eyes. Ever since the death of her parents Rose could never let go, and the more she held on the worse her poor heart got. As she continued life on her own with now with a grandmother to care for, Rose did everything she could to support the only family member left. But as years went on her grandmother couldn't stay on and so died of old age. At this point Rose was 18, and living on her own. Manehattan was her true home, but only brought back the sadness from years ago. So she decided to gather everything she could and move away to have a fresh start. She would never forget her family, but knew that they would only want the best for her, to start new, to make life better. Moving to Ponyville was going to be her new home, but even though she been through so much, little did she know that her life was going to get better. Meeting a Pegasus who would later on would be the greatest thing to ever happen to her. But as time goes she now is a single mother of three working to support her children getting the bits from doing the one thing Rose can do, charm casting. Rose does part time as a pony counselor.
