Cutie Mark: Rosetta a passionate florist who she works with not lively flowers but with dead, wilting ones! She can make anything that looks ugly into a beauitful display.

Personality: Rosetta is a mysterious, lustful, bittersweet, hard to get type of mare. At times she is can be understanding and sympathetic, but that hard shell isn't easy for anypony to break. Only a complete fool would have to go through her insensitivity, and cold-hearted behaviour to get through her. Since the day she had to depart from her family, Rosetta isn't the mare that you can get to become "soft" on anypony.

Backstory: Rosetta was born on a full moon night in the month of November in a big, deep cave that many other vampire ponies and their offspring stayed in. The new mother was catching her breath after pushing for so long she had to rest, with her husband beside her (who was also the clan leader of their group) he nuzzled his wife, comforting her for a job well done. Both of the proud parents gazed at their daughter as other friends and other members praised and blessed the parents as they gave gifts for the newborn foal. Most of the presents we're bouquets of flowers that wilted, in vampire culture this was very thoughtful and respectful. The bouquets we're filled with roses, lilies, and orchids and tied together with a burgundy ribbon. The mother was very pleased as the father was impressed as well. He thanked the members of his clan and dismissed them as so they did. The new parents we're now alone with their daughter but a thought came by to them that their daughter needed a name. As they thought of names, the mother looked at bouquets and saw how most of them included roses. The mother smiled as she knew that roses we're her favorite, and then an idea popped up into her head. She told her husband what the perfect name for their daughter should be, and he nodded with a smile, meant he agreed. From that day on their daughter was known as Rosetta Thorns. <br /><br />As days came and went, months turned into years Rosetta grew and grew. In the process of growing Rosetta's parents we're there to teach their daughter everything about being a vampire pony. Her mother taught her the ways to eat, to suck blood in the correct way. How deep to sink her fangs in, how to clean up her mess, and of course how to find her victims. While her father taught her how to fly, as to glide, speed up, turning, stopping and a few tricks. She also was taught to chase her victims as well. Growing up she was told stories by the elderly, who told tales of the past and horrors that they experience. Like most of the children in their clan they all we're amazed and their spirits rised. Rosetta loved hearing these stories especially about how their clan was formed. Hearing about her father was exciting to hear, how she admired her father more than anypony. During this time in her life, like most of the fillies and colts they had their cutie marks, sadly Rosetta didn't have her cutie mark yet but soon one day she would. However one day it did happen and her parents we're very proud. As time progressed the fate that Rosetta was never told was coming closer as her parents worried and tired to cope with the struggle they we're soon to face. Finally the day had come and Rosetta noticed that some of her friends suddenly disappeared, Rosetta asked why and where did they go and with heavy hearts they explained. Within the Vampire Code which was a set of rules that every vampire pony had to follow as it was a tradition set by the main ruler of their kind that once the offspring reached a certain age, they had too leave the nest, never to go back in hopes of which they will continue their lives and hopefully start their own clans, in which raises the population. Rosetta didn't like the sound of this at all, in fact she cried to stay, begging her parents to let her be the one exception, but her father told her that it wouldn't be fair for the others to go through the same pain and not them. Rosetta's parents gave her this talk and by the end of it Rosetta had calmed down, but still sadden by the sudden news. They told Rosetta that she was ready and she was going to be destined for great things, she asked if they'd meet ever again, an with a sigh her mother told her: "If life is good to you, Rosetta then maybe life will bring you back to us, and the only way to make sure it happens you have to leave us, but always remember that we love you and always will love you until the end of time...be careful, Rosetta, we love you.." and with that said they hugged their daughter for the last time hoping one day they would see their daughter again. After the hug Rosetta stretched her wings, took a deep breath and exhaled, looking back at her parent's faces she turned her head back to the front and took flight, flying away into the dust of night. Her parents watched her fly away and the mother broke into tears, crying like bloody murder, her husband comforted her closing his eyes as a single tear rolled down his face. <br /><br />Since then Rosetta had to live on her own, as the years came and went Rosetta eventually grew up fully into a young vampire mare.
