Appearance: In order to survive in Prison, one must stay strong. And so, though he started out a relatively feeble man, he looks a good five years younger than he really is, which isn't saying much.

Personality: Bitter and saddened by his wrongful imprisonement, Rent is but a shell of his former self. Though he was not made to belong here, his background has quickly elevated him up the social ladder, securing good fortune.

Backstory: Rent Broker was much more than a successful businesspony: he had a silver tongue. Using his quick wits, he was hired and quickly promoted over and over again by the Colt Arms Company, until he became one of their top men, serving on the Board of Directors. His fall from grace happened while displaying a new firearm, in which he accidently discharged the weapon, killing, unfortunately, the CEO of the company. ALlegations that he did it on purpose were based on his almost desperate thirst for his victim's position in the company, and the court declared him guilty of first degree murder. He has, since that fateful day, remained locked inside his cell, angrily planning escape to destroy the ones who harmed him so. His high-profile murder earned him the nickname "Hotshot".
