Sapphire Swirl

Species: Earth Pony

Appearance: First and foremost, Sapphire Swirl is a Crystal pony. Because of this, she usually has a sparkling complexion about her (unless she is in her "depressed Crystal pony" mode). Sapphire is royal blue with a silver mane and tail. Her mane is naturally curly, but she usually straightens it, and doesn't like ponies to see her natural hair. Sapphire has pale yellow, Crystal pony-style eyes.<br /><br />Sapphire is of the average height, but is slightly thinner than other mares. She has always been self-conscious, especially about her weight, to the point some may refer to as an eating disorder.

Cutie Mark: Sapphire's cutie mark is a straight-on view of a cello bridge. Her mark represents her special talent, playing the cello.

Personality: Sapphire is introverted. She is not necessarily shy, or quiet, but she doesn't see a reason to go around making friends with every pony that comes her way. Now, this doesn't mean Sapphire is friendless. She likes to have a good time with her friends and is fun around them, but she feels two or three friends is plenty for one mare. <br /><br />Sapphire is not depressed, but can be particularly disconsolate most of the time. She enjoys a good conversation with her friends, but does not like sharing her feelings and tends to keep her problems to herself. <br /><br />Sapphire has a sarcastic sense of humor. She is more of a follower than a leader, and is capable of carrying on a conversation, but isn't the pony you look to to start one.
