Cutie Mark: The Lotus flower is Sapphire's cutie mark. It has meanings like wisdom, intelligence, and knowledge. She's a very smart pony, and she expresses that in her talent, alchemy, involving aquatic plant life.

Personality: Sapphire is a very reserved type of pony and tends to be soft spoken, but has a strong will. She has a high sense of morality and has a pure heart, yet minimal patience. She's very creative and adventurous in her alchemy endeavors, and has achieved many feats during her studies, but she does not flaunt them. To most pony's, she has a british dialect.

Backstory: SapphireSnow was born in a small village located in the Crystal Mountains, which lay beside the more well-known Crystal city. Since a young filly, she found herself alone, but she never thought of it as a bad things. In fact, she loved it. It gave her time to pursue her interests without interruption. Sapphire was always a very logical pony, and constantly pursued knowledge. She would make long journeys into the Crystal City just to visit the library. After acquiring extensive knowledge over the years, she decided to leave her village, her family, and her few friends she had, to pursue studies in the Crystal City. She went through school easy enough and before she knew it, she had completed it. Through the course of her studies, she took an alchemy class which resulted in her cutie mark. By this time, word had reached her about an infamous alchemist in the Everfree Forest which pretty much set her on her course for the rest of her life. She had decided to pursue this alchemist with the idea she was to become her apprentice.
