Appearance: Scarlet Fidelity is a relatively young unicorn mare. She has a scarlet coat (which fulfils the first part of her name; Scarlett), a purple and violet mane and blue eyes. Her mane is relatively short, and a small bit hooks past her eye. Her tail is wild, but not Spitfire level wild.<br /><br />She often ears a CPS standard issue black mark four polymeric nano-composite body armor with integrated electromagnetic offensive and defensive systems.

Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is a full black “high tech” crosshair type mark representing her skills for precision telekinesis and fine tuned magical abilities.

Personality: Scarlett tends to appear relaxed but on the inside is quite blunt and defensive, and slow to trust others. She is also driven when it calls for it, fiercely loyal, and imaginative. Her core personality has been shaped by both her long timeline and her time with the crew of the Chocolate Pearl. Her past often comes to haunt her and due to some bad experiences in her past she vowed to never harm another pony again and help wherever she can.

Backstory: Kiera was born in a world much different than Equestria around the time 2432. She was born to a world with magnificent skyscrapers, free energy and technology beyond anything Equestria has. She gained her cutie mark at age 5 once she had fixed a computer and was accepted into the working world early at the age of 13. Scarlett was working on the Quantum-Temporal Redirection project, otherwise known as the QTR project, despite only being 15 years old. It’s purpose was to create a time travel device capable of transporting multiple ponies to any point in time. During the final test the power calculation were incorrect and in an attempt to shut the device down manually Scarlett was caught in the ‘blast’ radius of the device and was transported to not only a different time, but a different reality.<br /><br />She spent just over four years in this alternate reality, trying to survive. During that time she built her mental strength, her physical strength and her magical power, all in a hope of trying to find a way home. Eventually, she learnt of a thing from that past called a megaspell. It wasn’t quite dark energy fusion, but under the right conditions it could be harnessed to power the device. She was on her way to set up her experiment where she heard there was an undetonated megaspell, but before she got to it she saw it detonate in the distance. In a last ditch attempt to get home, ignoring any potential damage to herself, she used her own magic to redirect the energy hurtling towards her into the device, which then sent her home.<br /><br />Upon arriving home, forty years had past instead of four. But she didn’t know that. She had lost most if not all memories of what had happened. Over the next 5 years she spent most of her time keeping the device away from her old team members, and trying to regain her memories. After a while she began to settle back into her universe and joined the City Protective Services, or CPS. It was their version of a police force. Upon completing her 3 years training she joined the scientific division, then designed and put into circulation her suit as well as some cybernetic enhancements, a multi-tool and a service weapon. At this point she began to worry about her body. It had been 8 years since she had gotten back from the alternate reality yet she hadn’t seemed to have aged a single year, nevermind 8. She began to feel like she didn’t belong, and began uncovering some horrifying secrets about the reality she lived in. She eventually turned against CPS and set plans to use the device to move to a new reality, one that would not question her morals. After a long chase and a theft of a the entire database, she finally escaped through the abandoned lab she used to work in, taking her equipment and knowledge with her to 2010.<br /><br />She woke up on a spit south-west of Las Pegasus and spent the next year constructing a house with the same technology she was used to. Her entire house was completely invisible and was in a time lock, and could only be brought out of it by a time-traveller. She effectively had a pocket dimension to live in. Not that she spent much time in it. After a long-range teleportation test she accidentally ended up on an island very far from home. It was there she made her first friends, a Captain by the name of Caramel and her crew. She had learnt that Kiera wasn’t a name that fitted with this universe, so in a quick attempt to think of a new name she came up with Scarlett, her childhood nickname. She travelled with them for a few weeks before returning home. Over those few weeks, they had gone on some small adventures and Scarlett had grown fond of them and less than 3 years later she travelled with them on the Chocolate Pearl and a couple of new ponies again. They set out on an adventure to find Atlantis, but never found it. It was on this second trip that she met a merpony called Aqua, who she became very good friends with. After that the group disbanded, and for the next 30 years she occasionally met up with Aqualuna and some of the others.<br /><br />But she began to miss her time’s level of technology, and so cut all ties and made two small jumps into the future. One about 100 years at which everyone she knew had died and she claimed the ship she used to be a part of. She put it into storage and visited whose graves she could, before jumping another 350 years into the future and promising to never harm another pony ever again.<br /><br />She spent a few years settling into a time that wasn’t perfect, but was closer to her time than she would have otherside got to. Upon helping discover the Stargate, Scarlett founded the Stargate project and spent the next 50 years running the program as well as travelling to other planets and experimenting with alien technology, such as that of the Ancients, the Gate Builders. She also advised the military training installation known as Corbulo and developed several technologies for both military and scientific use. The general populus did not know of the gate or that alien life existed, and only those accepted into Corbulo as well as some of the best scientists in the world. After 5 years they discovered a 9 chevron address and after discovering the Icarus planet she travelled to another universe onto a ship with a daughter she did not know she had and her old friend Aqua, who found a way to cheat time just like the 115 year old Scarlett, who was a mere 17 years before her birth in her original universe.<br /><br />This is her story so far.
