Felix

    • Age: 16

      Gender: Female

      Species: Earth Pony

Appearance: Scarlett is a dark pink pony with beige colored eyes and a red bow amongst her swirly rose red and beige colored mane. Her tail is of the same color but curves in it's shape rather than swirls.

Cutie Mark: Scarlett's cutie mark is the star constellation of the Ursa Major. It represents her fascination of the stars and how she became an astronomer which was through a unique experience in which the first constellation she saw came down to her in a solidified form. Still made of the stars and space itself, but a visible creature that represents it's constellation. Her talent is not only the knowledge she has of these constellations but also that she is able to interact with them.

Personality: Scarlett is often bouncy and cheerful. She's rarely sad and chooses to be enthusiastic about anything. She has a playful nature that has been apart of her since she was a filly alongside her sweet and caring affection for her friends and family. Scarlett would take care of and protect her loved ones no matter the cost.

Backstory: It was a simple cottage among a hill top. This is where Scarlett lived. It was far from civilization and was perhaps the most peaceful place of them all. A nearby forest was all that surrounded it. Within the forest was nothing more than fireflies and other innocent creatures. The life style was marvelous! Scarlett grew up with her parents home schooling her and every day as she grew she learned more and became much more of an exciting and heart filled pony. However, while she liked learning, she recognized that someday she'd have to find her talent; but nothing seemed fitting.

If there was one thing Scarlett enjoyed, it was star gazing. She did it every night just outside on the porch of the cottage. Her parents didn't tell her much of the stars but she knew what they were anyway. Scarlett did all kinds of research on them. When she discovered what a constellation was she was intrigued by the idea and tried to retrace their shapes in a little note book of hers. She read tons upon tons of information until there was nothing left to learn. Scarlett was teaching her own parents about the stars!

One night, however, something was different. Scarlett did as she had always done. Just after dinner she stepped outside onto the porch and laid on her stomach, looking up at the stars. She looked and traced them over with her hoof, pointing from star to star in the night sky. Eventually, she began to doze off. While fast asleep, something had approached her and poked at her shoulders. Scarlett expected it to be her parents, telling her to come to bed, but it wasn't. A bear, a cub made of stars and space, was looking into her eyes. At first she was astonished, but the shock didn't last once she got excited and began to play with the cub. After many hours, the two settled, until a mix of orange and pink came from the horizon. Scarlett and the cub had stayed up all night. As the sun approached, the cub slowly disappeared, until it was gone. It was then Scarlett's parents awoke from an accidental slumber to find Scarlett still outside. Excited, she told her parents about what had happened.

By the time she was done with her small story, her parents told her that what she saw was one of the commonly known constellations; an Ursa Minor. Of course, Scarlett knew what constellation this was, but she hadn't realized a constellation could become a living thing. It was here that she saw what her future would hold. At the age of 16 Scarlett set out on a quest to become a professional astronomer and learn more of this phenomenon in which she could interact with constellations.

As time went on Scarlett met and interacted with many more creatures that existed from the constellations and discovered her talent of communication with the stars, receiving her cutie mark for it.
