Personality: If there was ever a time that Sectus was a kind and caring individual it has long passed. After losing his wife Sectus became obsessive and completely absorbed in his work; there was nothing he was not willing to do to further his studies, no morale line he wasn’t willing to cross and as a result he has and will do terrible things. Things have only gotten worse after severing his soul from his body. Sectus is completely without empathy and only functions using cold logic to make decisions.
Backstory: A wealthy and rational individual, Sectus spent much of his life researching the mysteries of the immortal soul as his ancestors had before him. He hoped that the mysteries of the soul would prove beneficial to equestrian society. That was before he met and fell in love with an adventurer whom he would later make his wife. They lived happily until they had their daughter, Imperia. Sectus’s wife experienced problems during childbirth and passed away from them.<br /><br />As a result of this, Sectus spiraled into his work, determined that his research a way for him to be with his beloved again. He neglected his daughter and performed dangerous and unethical experiments in his quest for knowledge. Eventually his desperation caused him to use his own daughter in his experiments which backfired. The out of control entity born from his horrible experiment lashed out against him and that should have been Sectus’s end.<br /><br />However, even though he was bleeding out, Sectus would not let that be the end of him. Experimenting on his own dying self Sectus succeeded in severing his soul from the bonds tying it to his body although at that cost of irreversibly damaging his immortal soul. Sectus’s soul escape his lab, leaving his dying body behind. What became of Sectus afterwards is currently unknown.<br />
