Appearance: A Crystal Pony with a slightly darker sky blue coat, and a light brown mane and tail with a dark brown streak down the left most side of each.<br />Her eyes are silver in color.<br />She wears her mane and tail in a rather lackadaisical manner, more closely resembling Rainbow's style despite being a Crystal Pony. Unlike her brother, she does like to dress formally even when it isn't necessary, and tends to wear her mane and tail in styles resembling Octavia's.

Personality: Despite her name and appearance, Serenity is a rather obnoxious and mischievous mare. She will often speak her mind, even if it makes matter worse, even going so far as to deliberately do so just to annoy her brother. She is a bit of a show off as well.<br /><br />Despite all this, she does have a serious side to her, most commonly seen in her musical and artistic talents, or doing something else she enjoys. <br /><br />Serenity can be slightly vain, and immensely enjoys compliments on her physical appearance or her musical or artistic pieces. <br /><br />She often tries to get her brother to loosen up, but rarely succeeds.<br /><br />She is satirical and sarcastic in her humor, and thus sometimes she is the only one to understand what is making her laugh. She will jokingly behave flirtatiously towards stallions who give her compliments mainly just to annoy Saronyx, who she knows is protective of her and she enjoys watching him chase those he doesn't deem 'worthy' of his sister away.

Backstory: Serenity and her older twin brother Saronyx, are Crystal Pony siblings born in the Crystal Empire, who lived before and during its fall at the hooves of the corrupted Sombra.<br /><br />At the time of Sombra's defeat, the twins were eighteen years of age. They were cast into the enchanted slumber, like the rest of their kind, when the Crystal Empire was lost, and remained in the state of suspended animation for the next millennium.<br /><br />Serenity had always been the way that she is, bearing a large sense of humor - though sometimes she is the only one to find the things she laughs at funny - and behaving mischievously. The twins were, and are even now, rarely seen apart from each other. <br /><br />Both of the siblings were very creative, Saronyx in his writings and ideas and Serenity in her art and music. Whereas Saronyx looked up to Sombra as a role model and partially like a big brother figure, Serenity didn't like him quite as much. As such, when the Unicorn stallion took over the Empire, she wasn't nearly as devastated as her brother.<br /><br />Like all Crystal Ponies, when the Crystal Heart was removed, Serenity fell into something of a depression, but she was one of the few that were still able to remain somewhat happy and cheerful, if only to keep her brother's spirits up - for despite her constantly teasing him, she truly cares for her brother. <br /><br />When Saronyx discovered his abilities as a Visionary at age ten, Serenity was the first and only pony he ever told, and she swore to keep it a secret between the two. He shares musical pieces that he heard while looking through a rift, and described various landscapes to her for her to recreate in their reality.<br /><br />When Saronyx discovered he could look into their reality's past, at age 15, Serenity was once again the only pony he ever told. Even at this point, Serenity had never fallen from her innate happiness, which had in fact grown since The Fall, because of her music, art and the many discussions she shared with her brother.<br /><br />After the Empire rose once again and Sombra was ultimately defeated by the Mane 6 and Spike, Serenity joined Saronyx when he ventured out of the Crystal Empire and into the vastness of Equestria. She has stuck with him ever since, though every so often she ventures off on her own. She keeps in touch however using a Raven that she adopted during their journeys whom she named Corvus.
